Job Description
Root & Sprig is coming to Colorado! We are seeking a General Manager with outstanding leadership skills and passion for food and hospitality to open a BRAND-NEW store located inside the Fitzsimons building of The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, the largest academic health center in the Rocky Mountain region and home to the University of Colorado School of MedicineUniversity of Colorado Hospital, and many other clinical education, research and treatment facilities.


Responsibilities include:

• Lead day-to-day operations

• Manage P&L by following cash flow, managing inventory & labor, and proactively take steps to increase revenue

• Oversee stations to provide quick, accurate and exceptional service

• Provide warm and friendly hospitality to all guests

• Professionally resolve guest complaints, concerns and feedback

• Hire, train and develop team

• Coach and motivate team to exceed goals and uphold standards

Job Requirements
Qualifications:

• At least three years of experience in similar role

• At least three years of experience in successfully directing, motivating, coaching and developing team members

• Commitment to fostering a family-friendly environment and providing genuine hospitality to all

• Servsafe certification or equivalent

• Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner and listen attentively to others, understand material and provide instructions to all employees

• Strong multitasking skills and ability to time-manage personal tasks

• Ability to successfully execute FOH and BOH stations

• Excellent customer service skills
